Commercial Debt Recovery
Pre-Legal Action
We undertake collection of your debt by sending a definitive demand letter to your Debtor.
Our standard commercial debt letters are £3.00 plus vat. We will also send custom-built letters (including references to insolvency proceedings) for around £30.00 plus VAT.
In addition to the debt, we will seek a collection fee from the Debtor (pursuant to The Late Payment of Commercial Debts Regulations 2002). If the fee is recovered, we retain it as costs. If this fee is not recovered, there is still no charge to you even if the debt is recovered.
If instalment payments are offered or a dispute is raised and you wish
us to continue to act, we will charge an advised hourly rate of between £80
and £100.
Large Debts
We recommend our specialist proactive recovery methods at an hourly rate to be advised. This generally costs you far less than commission.
Disputed Debts or Complicated Claims
Undertaken at an hourly rate to be advised.
Collection through the Courts
We provide an "all costs recoverable" service for undisputed debts.
If appropriate, we will also claim interest on your behalf pursuant
to the Late Payment Regulations referred to previously (Currently 13.5%).
We also claim the collection fee permitted by these Regulations which
we keep as a fee if recovered.
