Advising on Appeals

We can review FTT decisions and advise you on whether to appeal

We offer a fixed fee service to review any First-tier Tribunal (Property Chamber) (“FTT”) decisions and assist you with making an informed decision on whether to appeal the decision to the Upper Tribunal. We have a vast amount of experience of the appellate system and have numerous reported appeal case decisions, including successful reported appeals involving the following areas:

  • Service charge reasonableness.
  • Service charge accounts.
  • Right to manage claims.
  • Interpretation of leases.
  • Section 20 major works.
  • Failure to follow invoicing mechanisms within a lease.

What we require to review a decision:

  1. A copy of the decision of the FTT.
  2. A copy of the hearing bundle (where necessary and applicable).

We will always agree a fixed fee service to include consideration of the decision and advice on the merits of appealing. Thereafter, if an appeal is to be pursued, we can offer a fixed fee service for conducting the appeal.
