Hannah McLeod

I’m Hannah McLeod, a Chartered Legal Executive within the Service Charge and Ground Rent collections team at JBL. I have worked at JBL for just over nine years, having started as an office assistant and eventually qualifying as an FCILEx!

Having spent time working with Technical and Complex team, I was offered the chance to move over to collections providing them with legal resources and knowledge, and assisting them with queries. I also have my own case load and I conduct ‘bite-size’ training sessions and solicitor surgeries where the teams can drop in with any files they may need help with, or any questions they have.

As a woman working in law, I am proud of my achievements such as qualifying, and working towards the role I am in today. Throughout my entire career at JBL, I have had strong, female role models who have shaped me into being the Cilex lawyer that I am. I do believe however there is a long way to go for women and equality, not just in work spaces, but the world in general and Women’s Equality Day is a powerful reminder of that.

During our long relationship, JB Leitch has become part of our core team. Their Landlord and Tenant advice is authoritative and clear, and they understand our sector inside out. Their credit control service is highly effective, but also sensitive to the wider relationship we have with our leaseholders
