Litigation Operations Manager

We are now seeking an experienced and highly organised Litigation Operations Manager to take a pivotal role in shaping the efficiency, quality and operational performance of our growing litigation practice. This is a rare opportunity to influence how a nationally recognised litigation team operates, embedding processes, systems and standards that support long‑term growth.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a confident, commercially aware operations professional with substantial experience supporting litigation teams within a law firm.
Working closely with our closely with our Head of Technical and Complex and Legal Director you will be responsible for:
- Strengthening operational control across the litigation department
- Overseeing core litigation processes, deadlines, compliance and quality standards
- Improving financial accuracy through effective billing, debt management and time recording oversight
- Leading the development, optimisation and governance of case management systems and workflows
- Supporting paralegals, trainees and junior team members through operational guidance and coordination
- Enhancing reporting processes, diary management and key litigation administration touchpoints
- Acting as a central point of coordination between legal teams, finance, IT and senior stakeholders

About You
You will be:
- Experienced in a Legal PA, Litigation Support, Practice Management or Operations role within a law firm
- Highly familiar with litigation processes, deadlines, and regulatory requirements
- Skilled in billing, financial workflows, aged debt management and time recording governance
- Confident working with senior stakeholders and supporting high‑performing fee earners
- Exceptionally organised, detail‑driven and comfortable working autonomously within clear boundaries
- Professional, discreet and proactive, with strong communication skills
