Melissa Molyneux

I’m a Client Relationship Manager in the Business Development Team here at JB Leitch. I first joined the firm back in 2015 as a Legal Assistant and, over the past 10 years, I’ve worked my way through every role in the Recoveries Department. This has given me a real, hands-on understanding of how everything works, and in 2018 I was promoted to Client Relationship Manager, taking on my own clients and caseload.

As a woman working in a legal firm, I’m incredibly proud of how far I’ve come. I’m always striving to be the best I can be — for my clients, for my colleagues, and for myself. Around the office I’m often called the JB Leitch “go-to” person (and sometimes even “Mum”!) which I take as a huge compliment. I like to think I’m approachable and friendly, and I genuinely enjoy seeing people grow in their careers and achieve their goals.

I’ve been lucky enough to win ‘Colleague of the Month’ a few times, which is always such a lovely boost — reading the kind words from my colleagues about how I’ve helped them day-to-day really means a lot.

Over the years I’ve had the privilege of working alongside some incredibly strong women in this industry who continue to inspire me. I’ve also built friendships here that I know will last a lifetime, and I’ve seen some of my closest friends become amazing mothers, wives, and successful businesswomen in their own right.
