JB Leitch receives recertification for ISO 27001

This week JB Leitch is pleased to announce that it has received recertification in the world class ISO 27001:2013 standard for Information Security Management.

Developed by the International Organisation for Standardisation, ISO 27001 is a globally recognised information security management system standard that requires adherence to controls governing information security policies; human resource security; asset management; access control; physical and environmental security; communications security; development and maintenance; information security incident management; information security aspects of business continuity management; and compliance.

Following a comprehensive independent audit of the firm’s systems and processes earlier this month, JB Leitch has received official recertification which recognises that our approach to managing, processing and storing information meets the highest criteria for the next three years.

Gareth Rowlands, JB Leitch’s IT Director adds “JB Leitch continues to be fully committed to information security and resilience within a landscape of increasing and ever more sophisticated threats. Our clients expect data to be managed effectively and securely. By securing ISO 27001 recertification we are sending a very clear signal that we are operating at the very highest international standards and that maintaining this level of rigour and control remains central to our business.”
