Andy is Risk & Compliance Director at JB Leitch, responsible for ensuring the firm manages regulatory, professional and operational risk in a practical and proportionate way. He works closely with colleagues across the business to support both client work and internal operations, helping teams navigate risk while maintaining high standards.

With extensive experience in legal operations and compliance, Andy has a strong background in regulatory frameworks, data protection, complaints handling and professional standards. He is known for making complex requirements clear and accessible, providing straightforward guidance that supports teams in their day-to-day work.

His focus is on helping the business balance effective risk management with commercial reality—identifying key issues, assessing risk and working collaboratively to find sensible solutions. He is passionate about building a culture where compliance is understood, embedded and supports good decision-making.

Andy is known for his calm, pragmatic approach and clear, consistent advice.

Outside of work, he enjoys cycling and taking on DIY projects.
