Managing Director

As Managing Director, Matt is responsible for the overall performance and direction of the firm, leading a team of more than 150 people. He brings a commercially focused and practical approach, with a strong emphasis on building sustainable, well-run businesses that deliver consistent outcomes for clients.

Since joining JB Leitch, he has supported the firm’s continued growth and development, helping to strengthen its position as a leading specialist in property law. His focus is on ensuring the business continues to evolve while maintaining the standards and approach that underpin its success.

Matt is particularly passionate about building high-performing teams and creating an environment where people can develop and do their best work. He is known for his collaborative and straightforward leadership style, working closely with colleagues across the business to support continuous improvement.

Outside of work, Matt enjoys spending time with his family. He is a keen golfer, a regular gym-goer, and a lifelong Everton supporter.

During our long relationship, JB Leitch has become part of our core team. Their Landlord and Tenant advice is authoritative and clear, and they understand our sector inside out. Their credit control service is highly effective, but also sensitive to the wider relationship we have with our leaseholders
