The Building Safety Act introduces new obligations for Accountable Persons who must give up-to-date information to the Building Safety Regulator, residents or other prescribed persons in a timely manner, in the specified way and within a mandatory occurrence reporting system. This is part of a new “golden thread” that will also contain the information and documents produced for registration and certification, safety case and resident engagement.
